Nice looking corn!

Not sure what the winter squash is:

This weekend was a Revolutionary War re-enactment.

"Children's Garden"

That was a head scratcher for me...it's a Sausage Stuffer.

Wouldn't want to lug the lower rifle around with me!

And really cool camp tables (center):

Nice row of apple trees:

I asked...I think it was turnip seed under the cloth, which was to deter the birds:

Boys with Toys:

The place was packed today, and they had full staffing -- this is the first time I've been there that the garden was open to the public (that you could go within the fence):

What my garden only dreams of looking like...

The little white clothes on sticks are too scare away cabbage moths. Since cabbage moths are white and about that size, it makes them think other moths are already there.

To give some perspective on the following shots...I'm REALLY impressed with the zoom on my camera today, for only a mid-range non-SLR camera without fancy lenses it did much better then I thought it would.

The white flag is the French Fleur-de-Lis; during this time the French would fly a red flag to surrender.

Got to figure out the species of this tree...it has a really nice shape:

Meat!
